I’m happy to share with you my experience and honest review about my ultimate weekend getaway in this island with my family.

Park Hyatt on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, is a luxurious 5-star hotel with a 9km private beach, providing beautiful scenery, state-of-the-art amenities, and plenty of fun for the kids. Moreover, you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking panoramas of the Arabian Sea right from your room since most of the rooms offer sea or pool views. For an extraordinary experience, you can also choose a villa with a private pool, surrounded by lush greenery. Isn’t it amazing?
My family and I enjoyed a room with a king bed (an extra bed was provided for the kids), offering stunning views of the pools and the sea. The room wasn’t just ultra-comfortable; it was filled with delightful surprises. As we entered, we were welcomed with gifts, fruit platters, chocolate bowls, and adorable gazelle stuffed animals that brought joy to my kids. The room itself boasts an office area, a bathroom with a bathtub, a massive closet, and a private balcony. Equipped with a coffee machine and complimentary teas and coffee, our room provided an enchanting beach view that was simply magical. Relaxing on our private balcony was a delightful treat.
Luxuries at Your Fingertips: The amenities such as the Infinity Pool and Kids Club
Saadiyat Island’s allure lies in its soft, grey sand and crystal-clear waters—a perfect vacation spot. Elevating the experience, Park Hyatt boasts luxurious amenities, including infinity and family pools designed for various age groups. The standout, however, is the captivating kids’ club. I truly adore the kids’ club. It provided us with invaluable “me” time as our kids enjoyed exciting activities like flying kites for the first time. They also engaged in tie-dye activities and brought home their creations as souvenirs. The kids’ club has a variety of educational toys, cars, kitchen toys, and a playground perfect for toddlers. Additionally, the kids can play on the table football. The staff is very attentive, and we left our kids with no concerns. Our stay there is a perfect blend of relaxation and family joy! This is the reason why we love vacationing there again and again.

What sets this hotel apart for me is their meticulous attention to detail, especially in curating a menu with healthy options. Our room stay includes breakfast, a delightful experience where we treated ourselves to both scrumptious and nutritious meals. I ventured into trying the bee pollen and avocado with scrambled eggs – a truly unique and life-changing dish. Additionally, I savored the organic porridge adorned with mulberries and goji berries, delivering a hearty and delicious breakfast. For those with a penchant for sweet and salty treats, the buffet offers an array of choices, from pancakes and waffles to sausages, croissants, Arabic-inspired breakfast, cheese, and more. Believe me, the options are abundant!
Evenings were a delight with the themed nights buffet, a big hit with my kids who particularly enjoyed the pasta. However, the highlight for us was the barbecue extravaganza featuring a delectable array from seafood to steaks. An extra treat for the kids was the option to indulge in ice cream for both breakfast and dinner.
The next day, we had a memorable lunch on the beach. There’s a cafe and restaurant that offers break taking views of the sea. We relished plates of succulent calamari, crispy fries, and flavourful pizza whilst enjoying the view. To complete my beachside dining experience, a refreshing glass of mojito added the perfect touch. Truly unforgettable!
Family-friendly Adventures in Abu Dhabi
Our time on Saadiyat Island was filled with beach activities, from kite-flying to simply soaking up the sun and relishing the azure blue waters of the Arabian Sea. Before returning to the hotel, we dedicated a full day to fun at Sea World Abu Dhabi. Beyond Saadiyat, there are more exciting options. Treat your kids to thrilling rides at Warner Bros and Ferrari World, where they can enjoy roller coasters and meet iconic superheroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Alternatively, explore the cultural side by visiting the Louvre Abu Dhabi, situated on Yas Island.
The drive from Yas Island to Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi typically takes around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and the specific locations on each island. So, it’s doable to organize a day tour and then relax on the beach of Saadiyat Island.
